Today in class we explored Minecraft and the uses of it in the classroom. I used to play Minecraft when I was in Elementary school, so I was really interested in seeing how it can be used in the classroom. One thing I noticed right off the bat is that I was getting super nauseous from the movement of not only my screen, but the screens in my peripheral vision. I laid down for a bit and felt much better. I mostly let Kirby control the avatar and I gave helpful tips and tricks. I taught her how to make a Nether Portal. It was really interesting seeing the teacher’s side of MinecraftEDU and how they can interact with students, as well as control what they can do in the servers. There are so many different ways that Minecraft can be used, across so many different subjects. It was also really great to have students come in and teach us/encourage us in using Minecraft. I’m
