Teya's Education Journey

Documentation of my education journey

October 28th – In-Class Activities

Today in class we went over “embedding” links and making sure that we are properly crediting the sources of the images we use on and in our blog posts. I think I’ve been doing alright so far with crediting, as I am usually using my own pictures or art. We also got to learn about anecdotal report cards, and how they are an alternative to traditional letter grade report cards. I think it’s really interesting to think about the different impacts that these differing methods of progress reporting can have on kids; both psychologically and academically. I never knew that parents could request anecdotal report cards in lieu of traditional ones, and I’m definitely not the only one.
