For this week I experimented with drawing a body in a pose laying on the ground so that I could better understand the movement of the body when it is not in a standing position. Again, I got my roommate to lay on the ground at this time I took a picture. I’ve realized something about using the pen and it’s that it’s really difficult to draw straight or smooth lines when you’re drawing digitally. I googled it and a good way to mitigate this is to turn up the stability of the pen. So, that’s what I did. Messing around with stability can be good, but it can also be kind of annoying. It’s sort of predicts the way that you’re going to draw or create a line and it makes that line continue on past where you’ve drawn already. It’s a great tool to use, but you have to make sure you’re watching when you’re using it.
