This is my response to Kylie’s blog post 3
I agree with what you said about Covid-19 having affected the way millions of people are interacting on a daily basis, including in the world of teaching and learning. Increased attention to open and distributed learning online was long overdue, and the fact that we had to pay attention to it in such a severe way may not be all bad. We are now presented the opportunity to develop our teaching, learning, and sharing methods so that we will be better equipped and well-rounded in the future. There are many students and families that rely on this kind of learning on a normal basis, outside of the pandemic. We are gravitating towards more inclusive practices, and it’s great to see.
